90+/100 Punkte Robert Parker Dec 30, 2016 The 2014 Chianti Classico is a beautiful wine with sharp focus and brightness. The wine is loaded with energy and verve. Despite the negative comments you hear about this vintage, this wine demonstrates that hard work and careful fruit selection can make the difference. This base Chianti Classico is composed of 100% Sangiovese. Brancaia is best known for its excellent results with international grape varieties, but they have no problem making first-rate Sangiovese as well.
92/100 Punkte James Suckling October 2017 A focused and fresh Chianti Classico with dried cherry and blueberry character, medium body, silky tannins and a bright finish. Delicious energy here. Drink now.

91-93/100 Robert Parker August 31, 2017 Tasted from the vat two weeks before bottling in late June 2017, the 2016 Kamptal Grüner Veltliner Renner 1ÖTW shows a pure, fresh and bright bouquet of white fruits along with some lemon flavors. The wine is intense and fresh in its mineral purity, very well structured and develops a fruity and stimulatingly salty finish. The acidity is remarkably fresh. The Renner comes from the bottom of the western part of the Kammerner Gaisberg where the vines root in calcareous silt soils and can age for 8 years or more.
93/100 Punkte Robert Parker October 2017 The 2014 Ilatraia is a terrific wine that represents a blend of 40% Cabernet Sauvignon, 40% Petit Verdot and 20% Cabernet Franc. This is a darkly saturated and rich Tuscan blend that delivers so much pleasure on all levels. There is softness, intensity, complexity and length. This is a stunning wine with excellent engineering and execution. This is definitely a wine I will remember.
93/100 Punkte Wine Spectator Sep 30, 2017 A lush, concentrated style, this red boasts plum, cassis, tobacco and spice flavors. Fresh and pure, with a dose of serious oak. Mouthcoating tannins and spice notes line the finish. Cabernet Sauvignon, Petit Verdot and Cabernet Franc. Best from 2019 through 2028.
93/100 Punkte James Suckling Aug 28, 2017 This is a very well done red from the vintage with blackberry, dark currant and hints of rose petal aromas and flavors. Medium to full body, very fine texture and a pretty finish. Very fine for the vintage. Drink or hold.
93/100 Punkte James Suckling I like this skin contact style of pinot grigio with light pink hue. Full body, spiced pear and apple character and a long and flavorful finish. Phenolic linear line running through. Drink now.
92/100 Punkte Falstaff Costa Toscana Okt 2016 Funkelndes, intensives Rubin-Violett.
93/100 Punkte Falstaff März 2018 Sehr sattes, tiefes Rubinrot.
91+/100 Punkte Robert Parker Februar 2018 The 2016 Rosso di Montalcino is a bright and vibrant red wine that really pops from the glass. It exhibits a cheerful vertical lift that embraces all the senses. That buoyant bouquet is duly followed by robust cherry flavors with an impressive level of richness and concentration. This wine shows good structure and staying power. It has the budding complexity that comes so naturally to the mighty wines of Montalcino.
88/100 Punkte Vinous, Jun 2016 Bright ruby-red. Cedar, black currant and minerals on the fresh, clean nose. Bright and juicy; harmonious acidity nicely extends the dark fruit flavors. Finishes smooth, showing a bright, easygoing quality. A blend of Sangiovese (34%), Cabernet Sauvignon (33%), Merlot (33%).
93/100 Punkte James Suckling October 2017 A chewy red with dried berry, chocolate, dried mushroom and spice character. Medium to full body, integrated tannins and a long and flavorful finish. Drink now or hold.
93/100 Punkte Robert Parker, Mar 2016 The 2011 Brunello di Montalcino Vecchie Vigne shows great balance that is due, in part, to the advanced age of the vines (most of which were planted between 1967 and 1972). The wine delivers a very fine, silky quality of tannin and an elegant approach. The bouquet exhibits elements of forest fruit, crushed mineral, balsam herb and wild mushroom. The effect is graceful and nuanced. The nice thing about this wine is that you don't taste any of the fruit ripeness that characterizes this vintage. Those old vines were able to stand up to the summer heat.
97/100 Punkte James Suckling Oct 29, 2015 A very muscular red with plum, blueberry, walnut and dried mushroom character on both the nose and palate. Full and chewy. Fabulous fruit and intensity. Amazing quality for the vintage. Wow. Better in 2017.
94+/100 Punkte Robert Parker Feb 2017 Giancarlo Pacenti knows his land well and is a skillful farmer, especially with regards to navigating a challenging vintage like this. The 2012 Brunello di Montalcino Vecchie Vigne boasts a beautifully saturated ruby color that appears healthy and bright. The aromas are presented with precision and balance. A wine like this offers irrefutable evidence that old vines are the best remedy in a hot and dry vintage. The wine's various elements are intact and focused. Dark cherry, candied plum, exotic spice, tar and licorice form a united front. I prefer this vintage to 2011.
95/100 Punkte James Suckling February 2017 Aromas of ripe fruit such as sweet strawberries and hints of orange peel and chocolate. Medium to full body, soft and velvety tannins and a flavorful finish. Riper style. Drink or hold.
